Built with full carbon rims and spokes, a larger internal rim width compared to the Metron SL (23mm), and the new V-1000 hub with ceramic bearings and PRS technology, the Metron RS is designed to carry you all the way to the podium.

NEW V-1000 PRS HUBS WITH CERAMIC BEARINGS

The new V-1000 hub features ceramic bearings for reduced drag and increased service life, with flanges optimised for our T-head carbon direct-piull spikes. Our Helical Clutch ratchet with 72 teeth produces a 5 degree engagement angle, a huge 24% faster than our previous generation 6-pawl driver and DT's 54 tooth ratchet (6.6 degrees). The PRS increases durability all while reducing loss of power engagement under load. 

RIM TECHNOLOGY: ENHANCED AERODYNAMICS

The new Metron RS is even faster than the Metron 45 SL. Moulded spoke holes ensure maximum strength, and an increase in internal width ensures aerodynamic optimisation for the wider tyres preferred by modern racers.

CARBON SPOKES

Carbon fibre spokes shed weight and increase tensile strength and stiffness over steel spokes. The Metron 45 RS uses cutting edge manufacturing techniques, and every wheeset is hand built.
